I’ve spent more than two decades blending business strategy, creative technology, and market innovation, and that experience shaped my path to Promo Drone. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to build partnerships with global organizations such as Draganfly Inc., Google, Mitsubishi Electric, Carahsoft, and the World Trade Center. Being recognized as “Business of the Year” by the Los Angeles Tribune reinforced my commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, expanding workforce development, and using technology to uplift communities. All of that, every skill, every collaboration, every mission-driven project, naturally came together in the creation of Promo Drone.

What excites you most about the future of Promo Drone?

We are scaling into a new era of aerial communication. Our roadmap includes U.S. manufacturing expansion, strategic partnerships with event networks and public safety organizations, and the rollout of our Drone Advertising Network platform. We are also exploring international growth opportunities through programs such as Plug and Play China. The goal is simple: make drones a trusted, everyday medium for communication around the world.

How did you get started with this idea?

The idea was born out of my passion for innovation and community engagement. I was originally focused on live event marketing when I realized that drones could do more than entertain; they could communicate critical information visually and dynamically. When the pandemic hit, that vision evolved from advertising to public safety. The shift proved that this technology could not only drive brand engagement but also save lives by delivering timely information when it matters most.

I focused on clarity, simplifying a complex technology story into a human-centered narrative about connection and impact. I rehearsed the pitch, refined the financials and business model, and visualized how Promo Drone’s story would resonate with both investors and communities. Preparation was really about passion meeting purpose, showing not just what we built, but why it matters.

How did it feel to be selected as the winner?

It was surreal and deeply validating. Competing among so many talented entrepreneurs reminded me how important perseverance and belief are in this journey. When they called Promo Drone the winner, I felt both grateful and energized. It reaffirmed that our mission to “elevate communication” truly resonates with people and has the power to make a difference.

How will the prize money support your company?

The funds will support our next stage of growth, specifically advancing hardware production and expanding demo flights to reach new partners and customers. We will also invest in training and workforce development through our Vets to Drones initiative, helping veterans become certified operators of our Starling X.2 technology.
