Nearly 10K flights were delayed or canceled nationwide
Severe weather caused flight disruptions all across the United States resulting in flight delays and cancellations. A bevy of flights has been disrupted this summer as carriers faced bad weather and air traffic control issues in addition to ongoing staffing shortages. In January, the airlines hit a 40% delay rate, and in February when cancellations surged to more than 5,000 flights.
