President Biden is under quarantine at the White House and being monitored closely. Biden’s doctor, Dr. Kevin C. O’Connor said the president “continues to feel very well,” and said his cough has “almost completely resolved.” The president first tested positive for COVID-19 on July 21st.

GEICO has laid off hundreds of employees and closed all 38 of its agent offices in California. The insurance company will no longer sell insurance through telephone agents in the state. Californians can still obtain GEICO policies in the state, but only through a mobile device or computer.

Richard Sigman was arrested on July 30th after police say he fired into a car at a courthouse parking deck, killing 18-year-old Anna Jones. Reports indicates Sigman was arguing with someone, then walked into the parking deck and began shooting into a parked vehicle striking the victim.
