The rock guitarist was found dead in his home on Monday. Police arrested his son, Jonathan Lewis, and charged him with second-degree murder. Police reports state the victim’s body show injuries “consistent with foul play.”

On Monday an off-duty Southern California police officer was shot to death in a parking lot near a gym, police said. The victim died at the scene, a Downey police statement said. The suspect and motive is unknown at this time.
